i can't even stress to everyone reading this how much i love the summit academy marching band...i'm wayy blessed to be their drum major but i wouldn't even want to do it if i wasn't surrounded by amazing people when i went in everyday (:

they are already wayy exceeding everything i thought they could do, the freshmen are catching on really fast, the sophomores are helping them out and giving them support, the juniors are really leading in their sections and acting like mature seniors already, and the seniors are all relishing their last year with the band by having immense dedication!

i love them <3

Hello, yesterday while we were sitting in our small groups at Alive (which is my youth group) I realized that we were talking about forgiveness. I had split feeling about the subject; part of me wasn't too happy cause I have issues with it, and part of me was excited to maybe finally solve an issue of mine...

When Katie started to preach I was immediately drawn in and when we took communion I deeply examined myself to find out who I needed to forgive. It was a great cleansing process and I think I found out alot about myself in the way that I hold grudges and gossip sometimes...

So during the service I decided that I was gonna make some situations right with people I've hurt.. I am going to write personal letters to everyone I need to apologize to.. I think it will be a way for me to show the love of God to them and also put some peace in my life...

If you are feeling like you should forgive and forget in your life, I highly suggest you should do something about it right away.. it'll be way worth it in the end (:

Think about what Jesus did for us.. How can we accept HIS forgiveness and not give it out to others?

I'm up late just thinking about the sermon at Metro last night...

It was about Unstoppable Hope.

I learned that there are 3 things that a person should have to restore hope in their lives:

1- A person

But not just any person... someone who is going to agree to help you and is in a relationship w/ God.

2- That person has to have a vision

They should see you improving in the future and honestly care about your wellbeing.

3- That person must have a direction

They have to have a WAY to get you to your final goal.. (:

There is good news... God is that person :D

He has your best interest in mind, ALL THE TIME!

King David once said: "He restores my soul." ^_^

Hello Everyone!

Today I get to go to the grad parties of two of my best friends! Adry and Julia, my flute girls ^_^ And yesterday I got the opportunity of taking Adry's senior pictures, my first real gig...
